Concerned Home Managers for the Elderly (COHME) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded by Lucille Rosengarten in 1984. Her vision was to bring a groundbreaking, cooperative team approach to home health care in New York City. Thirty years later, COHME continues to be the City’s only nonprofit private-pay agency providing social-work case-management to clients and families in conjunction with home health aide and nursing services.
